Mr. Testa’s lighting design experience is comprised of theatrical lighting, special events and architectural lighting. As Principal of Testa Lighting Design, he has collaborated with many top designers and architects both nationally and internationally.
Rich's desire to create a cutting edge design firm lead to the birth of Testa Lighting Design (TLD) in February of 2000. The company is focused on creating exciting designs in conjunction with good client relationships. Preceding TLD, Rich worked for three years as a Senior Associate at Available Light in Boston. He created designs for trade shows, special events, theme architecture, office spaces, and museum exhibit environments.
Rich earned an MFA in Lighting Design from Southern Methodist University and a BFA from Salem State College. He has guest lectured at the University of Southern California, Wellesley College and for the Syracuse Opera Company.
